Frost Planning has submitted an exciting planning application on behalf of Engine of the North for a new settlement in Cheshire, named ‘The Garden Village at Handforth’.  The village will provide a mixed-use settlement.  It will comprise around 1,500 new dwellings, up to 12 hectares of employment land, a new village centre (including shops, leisure uses, extra care housing, primary school, sports and community facilities), extensive green infrastructure, and other community facilities.  The village will be an exemplar sustainable community and is one of 14 new garden villages to be built around the country.

Frost Planning has secured planning permission for another development on behalf of AstraZeneca plc at their Macclesfield site.

Hulme Street, Salford

Frost Planning has helped secured planning permission for a private client for a mixed-use tall building on the edge of Central Salford.  This is Phase 2 which comprises approval for a landmark mixed-use development rising up to 23 storeys high (part 8, 10 and 23 storeys). It includes a mix of commercial uses (380m²), with 11 two storey townhouses at ground floor, communal car parking beneath a Level 1 courtyard podium, and 285 apartments above.
